Youth 9-17 years old learn the principles of aviation and the basics of flight through fun, hands-on projects and great field trips! Campers build and fly a radio-controlled airplane, and practice flying with the flight simulator. They visit an air museum. They get a behind the scenes look at the Portland International Airport including the control tower, a regional airline, and more. The week culminates with campers flying over Vancouver from historic Pearson Field and operating the controls of a real airplane!
